Nancy Heen

Founder | CEO

Nancy is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience leading complex projects and large, technical teams. Prior to founding Axelerate, she spent 17 years in the aerospace industry, spearheading the building and turnaround of more than ten high-performance teams.

A natural leader, Nancy has a proven ability to design and implement successful business strategies. She masterminded a process to improve the efficiency of testing for commercial airplanes and components while working in aerospace. At Axelerate, she has successfully grown the company year-after-year since its inception.

Nancy takes great pride in giving back to the community and has recently served as a consultant to a local non-profit startup targeted at helping single mothers—developing the organization’s first strategic plan, full-scale program budget, and plan for a pilot program. Nancy holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University.
